Points and miles shouldn't require a PhD to understand. But when we started learning about travel rewards, that's exactly what it felt like.
Every website we found was either drowning in news about deals we couldn't use yet, or assumed we already knew what "transfer partners" and "award availability" meant. The beginner guides existed, but they were buried under mountains of affiliate-driven credit card promotions.
We built Points Clarity to be the resource we wished existed when we started.
Our approach is simple:
- Start from zero and explain everything in plain English
- Teach concepts in the right order, building knowledge progressively
- Be honest about what works, what doesn't, and who this is actually for
- Never recommend something just because it pays us more

- No recommendations until you're ready: We won't suggest any cards until you've completed our "Am I Ready?" assessment.
- Clear disclosure: Every page with affiliate links is clearly marked. You'll always know when a link might result in compensation.
- Non-affiliate alternatives: When relevant, we include options that don't pay us anything—because sometimes they're genuinely better.

We plan to offer a free email newsletter with occasional sponsorships from travel-related companies. Sponsors will always be clearly identified.
